User Agreement

This User Agreement governs the relationship between AltairVPN and the user of the VPN service.

Effective date: 16.06.2026

1. General Provisions

1.1. This User Agreement (the ā€œAgreementā€) governs the relationship between AltairVPN (the ā€œServiceā€) and the user of the VPN service (the ā€œUserā€).

1.2. Acceptance of this Agreement means payment for a subscription, obtaining access to the Service, or actual commencement of use of the Service.

1.3. From the moment of acceptance, the User confirms that they have read the terms of this Agreement and accept them in full.

1.4. This Agreement remains in effect for the entire period during which the User uses the Service.

2. Subject of the Agreement

2.1. The Service provides the User with access to the VPN service in accordance with the selected tariff plan.

2.2. The Service is intended to:

  • improve Internet connection security;
  • protect transmitted data when using public networks;
  • improve Internet connection stability;
  • protect user privacy when working on the Internet.

2.3. The Service is provided on an ā€œas isā€ basis and takes reasonable measures to ensure stable operation.

2.4. The User is independently responsible for complying with the laws of the country where they are located when using the Service.

3. Privacy Principles

3.1. Protecting user privacy is one of the main principles of the Service.

3.2. The Service follows the principle of data minimization and does not monitor users’ Internet activity.

3.3. The Service does not collect or store browsing history, Internet traffic content, DNS requests, or other user activity data, except in cases directly provided by the legislation of the Russian Federation.

3.4. The procedure for processing personal data is defined by a separate Privacy Policy, which is an integral part of this Agreement.

4. Rights and Obligations of the Service

4.1. The Service undertakes to:

4.1.1. Provide access to the Service in accordance with the selected tariff plan.

4.1.2. Take reasonable technical and organizational measures to ensure the operability of the Service.

4.1.3. Provide user support on matters related to use of the Service.

4.1.4. Process personal data in accordance with the Privacy Policy and the requirements of Russian Federation law.

4.2. The Service has the right to:

4.2.1. Carry out technical work necessary to ensure the stability and security of the Service.

4.2.2. Change tariffs for the Service. Such changes do not apply to already paid subscription periods.

4.2.3. Restrict or terminate provision of the Service in the following cases:

  • the User violates the terms of this Agreement;
  • actions threatening the security of the Service are detected;
  • requirements of Russian Federation law must be fulfilled;
  • technical circumstances arise that prevent further provision of the Service.

4.2.4. Where possible, notify the User of upcoming access restrictions or technical work, provided such notification does not conflict with legal requirements or technical capabilities.

5. Rights and Obligations of the User

5.1. The User has the right to:

5.1.1. Use the Service during the paid subscription period.

5.1.2. Receive technical support.

5.1.3. Request information about the processing of their personal data in the manner provided by Russian Federation law.

5.1.4. Request correction or deletion of their personal data in cases provided by Russian Federation law.

5.1.5. Request a refund in accordance with Section 8 of this Agreement.

5.2. The User undertakes to:

5.2.1. Pay for the Service on time.

5.2.2. Not transfer access data to third parties.

5.2.3. Not use more than three devices simultaneously for one account unless otherwise provided by the selected tariff.

5.2.4. Not use the Service for activities prohibited by the legislation of the Russian Federation or by the legislation of the User’s country of residence.

5.2.5. Not use the Service for:

  • distribution of malicious software;
  • fraud;
  • phishing;
  • unauthorized access to information systems;
  • mass spam distribution;
  • other unlawful actions.

6. Service Cost and Payment Procedure

6.1. The subscription cost is determined by the current tariffs published through the official channels of the Service.

6.2. Payment may be made by bank cards, the Faster Payments System, electronic payment services, and other available payment methods.

6.3. The subscription is provided for the period selected by the User.

6.4. At the end of the paid period, access to the Service is suspended until the subscription is renewed.

6.5. The User may renew the subscription before the end of the current period. In that case, the new subscription period is added to the existing period.

6.6. Changes in tariffs do not affect the period of use of the Service already paid for by the User.

7. Liability of the Parties

7.1. The Service strives to ensure stable operation, but does not guarantee absolute uninterrupted functioning.

7.2. The Service is not responsible for:

  • actions of third parties;
  • failures in communications networks and Internet providers;
  • malfunctions of the User’s equipment;
  • consequences of using the Service in violation of the law.

7.3. The Service is not responsible for the content of information transmitted by the User when using the Service.

7.4. In any case, the liability of the Service is limited to the cost of the subscription period actually paid by the User, unless otherwise provided by Russian Federation law.

7.5. The User is responsible for the legality of using the Service and for complying with applicable legal requirements.

8. Refunds

8.1. The User may request a refund within 7 calendar days from the moment of payment in the following cases:

  • inability to use the Service due to the fault of the Service;
  • significant technical malfunctions of the Service;
  • erroneous debit of funds.

8.2. Each request is reviewed individually, taking into account the circumstances of the specific situation.

8.3. Refunds are made using the same payment method used for payment, or by another method agreed by the parties.

9. Dispute Resolution

9.1. The parties seek to resolve all disputes and disagreements through negotiations.

9.2. Before going to court, the party that believes its rights have been violated may send the other party a written claim.

9.3. If a dispute cannot be resolved through negotiations, it shall be considered in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation.

10. Changes to the Agreement

10.1. The Service has the right to amend this Agreement.

10.2. A new version of the Agreement is published at least 7 calendar days before the date the changes take effect, unless another period is established by Russian Federation law.

10.3. If the User does not agree with the changes, the User may stop using the Service before the changes take effect.

10.4. Continued use of the Service after the changes take effect means the User agrees to the new version of the Agreement.

11. Term of the Agreement

11.1. This Agreement takes effect from the moment it is accepted by the User and remains in force until the User stops using the Service or until the Service ceases operations.

11.2. Certain provisions of the Agreement related to personal data processing, liability of the parties, and dispute resolution remain in effect after use of the Service ends in cases provided by Russian Federation law.
